Reco Choku, an established music service in Japan, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS this December. This was announced during the Japanese Nintendo Direct earlier today by Satoru Iwata.

The service will be available through an application, which players will be able download from the Nintendo eShop. Reco Choku will allow users to buy songs, check out various rankings and explore the new hits all in the palm of their hands. Existing users are able to use their same subcription and can start enjoying their downloaded content as soon as they download the application to their 3DS.
