The game is finally making its way to the downloadable store later this month.

NightSky, developed by Nicalis, is scheduled to release on the 3DS eShop on October 25 for $9.99, according to Nintendo's website.

NightSky, which was released on the PC last year, has been in development on the 3DS for some time. The game was initially scheduled to be released earlier this year but was pushed back to later in the year.

NightSky is a physics-based puzzle platformer in which you control a ball that can roll around numerous stages. Check out some impressions of the game from E3 here.

I ended up playing it on PC. I had waited too long for the WiiWare release. It was ok. Nothing spectacular. The music was perhaps the most memorable thing about it.

I had a license key for the PC version... but had stopped caring by that point and never actually got around to playing the game.  Still think it looks attractive though.
The 3DS release might convince me to give it a shot.  I dunno.  Not very motivated yet.  Maybe if there is a demo or some gameplay videos posted on the eShop.

*just another victim of delayed release apathy*

I heard some good reviews of YouTube . In one review it mentions problems with backgrounds and what is scenery and what is useful to the player . I hope the 3d can help with that and make it more clear what layer is background and what is useful to puzzle solving. I hope it's broken up to make it easy for portable play

I played this a bit at E3 and I thought it was really cool. 3D seemed to do what Adolph Vega hopes it will. I'll be there with bells on for this release.

No. Knowing Nicalis, you guys probably have a long time to wait. But we'll see. Maybe it will be reduced.
