Both titles will be coming in October; the Pokédex 3D Pro app also gets a mention.

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 will be launching for the Nintendo DS along with the Pokémon Dream Radar eShop title for the Nintendo 3DS, in Australia and New Zealand on October 11, 2012, Nintendo Australia announced today.

Pokémon Dream Radar is a downloadable title for the Nintendo eShop. The game has the ability to transfer Pokémon that players have caught into Pokémon Black and White 2. Pokémon Dream Radar utilises many of the Nintendo 3DS's functions such as the camera, motion control and augmented reality. The game also allows players the chance to catch rare hard-to-find Pokémon like the new Therian forms of the legendary Pokémon Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus.

Nintendo Australia has also revealed that the expanded application, Pokédex 3D Pro, will also be appearing on the eShop in the spring, allowing players to see 3D models and read information on all 640 Pokémon.

[AU] Pokémon Black Version 2, Pokémon White Version 2 and Pokémon Dream Radar Launching October 11th 2012 in Australia and New Zealand

A massive Pokémon adventure continues on Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS

Dive into the world of Pokémon™ like never before when two new Nintendo DS® Pokémon games and a downloadable Nintendo 3DS™ title arrive this October. The Pokémon™ Black Version 2 and Pokémon™ White Version 2 games are set to launch for the Nintendo DS family of systems (playable on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS™ XL in 2D mode) on 11th October, 2012. The Pokémon Dream Radar game will also be available for purchase in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on the same day. This downloadable Nintendo 3DS title allows Nintendo 3DS owners to catch some of their favourite Pokémon, including some very rare ones, and transfer them into Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2.

The Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 games bring players back to the Unova region two years after the events of Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version. Although this game takes place in a familiar region, there are many new areas to discover, and changes to familiar places for you to explore. One new area is Virbank City, home to Pokéstar Studios. Players will be able to visit Pokéstar Studios and star in their own movie with their favourite Pokémon. The movie a player creates premieres at the in-game theatre, where the audience gives it a rating. If a movie does well, players can make additional movies or even create sequels to existing movies. There are many movie genres to choose from, including romance, comedy and horror.

The Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 games will also give fans of the original games a chance to catch up with some familiar friends. In this game, Cheren and Bianca return in new roles. Bianca is now the assistant to Professor Juniper, helping her with Pokémon research and Cheren is now a Gym Leader and a teacher at a school in Aspertia City – the starting location for this adventure.

In these games, players will also be able to catch Pokémon from outside the Unova region − such as Eevee, Riolu, Tyranitar, Arcanine and Mareep− right from the start of the game.

In addition, Nintendo has revealed new information about the Pokémon World Tournament that debuts in Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2. Enter the Pokémon World Tournament, an exciting battle arena where players can challenge numerous Gym Leaders and Champions from previous Pokémon video games. Fans of the series will be able to battle trainers like Lance, Champion from the Johto region, and Volkner, Gym Leader from the Sinnoh region. Players can also use a variety of battle styles and moves found in Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 against these classic opponents.

If playing on Nintendo 3DS, players can also transfer Pokémon they have caught with the Pokémon Dream Radar game into their Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 games. The Pokémon Dream Radar game lets players use several different features of the Nintendo 3DS system, including the Nintendo 3DS camera, motion control and augmented-reality technology, to discover and catch Pokémon, many with special hidden abilities. Players can also catch hard-to-find Pokémon such as the new Therian Formes of Legendary Pokémon Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus.

Also launching later this Spring for purchase on the Nintendo eShop, the new Pokédex 3D Pro application for Nintendo 3DS allows players to learn all about their favourite Pokémon. This enhanced and upgraded version of the original Pokédex 3D includes detailed information on over 640 Pokémon! The Pokédex 3D Pro application includes in-depth sorting, comparison and ranking tools, as well as comprehensive details on what abilities each Pokémon can learn and how it evolves. Players can also take photos of Pokémon in the real world through its unique use of Augmented Reality Viewer.
