Then again, if I was getting a 3DS I would be getting the black one. Hope some other color choices will pop up soon. Well, other than the special ones that were already released.

They can come out with all the colors they want, but I'm holding off on buying a 3DS until they release the revision which incorporates the dual analog by default. Once that's out then we can talk about colors.

I wanted to wait for a revision then Nintendo was like "Here are bonus things!" and I responded with "Shut up and take my money!" so I got the black 3DS. I prefer the less conspicuous colors. Still, this is kind of a shame. I know quite a few people who like the different colors simply because they're not the standard black or gray. Variety is the spice of life.

This color is NOT ugly! I liked and have it and I'm confused and annoyed that they are getting rid of it.

As the owner of 3 Nintendo Systems in that color I was disappointed that my DS, Wii, and 3DS couldn't be in that color as well.

Aqua Blue is still my favorite 3DS color.

The colour does look better in person I found too.

The problem with the color was that it was made to be androgynous. With the default black (which I own, and is still my favorite) they needed a color blue (which is most peoples’ favorite color) in a shade that appeals to men, but more so toward women. It’s no mistake that when the 3DS was shown to the public; the aqua blue deliberately took precedent. With the introduction if the Pearl Pink and Midnight Purple 3DS, any void in “female” color segment has been filled. I think that the only other colors I would choose would be, because of the color gradient, a deep sapphire blue or graphite gray.
