Added video functionality and more is coming to your 3DS.

With the upcoming firmware update, the Nintendo 3DS camera will see an update that allows video functionality. The video mode will have three different modes, a normal recording mode and interval mode where 3DS users will be able choose from a 2, 5, 15, and 60 for consecutive recording, and the ability to record stop motion videos. Players can record up to 10 minutes of video.

No information was given about how users will be able to share their videos with other users online or offline. The firmware update is expected to hit the 3DS sometime in November.

My 3ds can already record video and its not grainy! I was surprised how good the quality was! I can record video via inch worm studios.

As bad as the cameras are on it I'm really not excited about this at all. If I'm gonna make a video I want it to be something I can stand to watch and share. The cameras on the 3DS are a much more a novelty than the 3D ever was.
