Kirby's DS swan song will be out in Japan in July.

Atsumete! Kirby (literally "Gather! Kirby") is coming out on July 7 in Japan, according to a recent issue of Coro Coro Comics.

The hook of the HAL Laboratory-developed game is that you use the stylus to control up to 10 little Kirbys.

So far, there hasn't been any mention of an overseas release of Atsumete! Kirby.

Talkback

I'm hoping this is a fall title for NA as a double-shot swan song with Layton IV. Looks interesting and very Canvas Curse-ish.

But will it come with a pink stylus?

This game came out of nowhere. I wonder what type of game it is... the concept reminds me of Lemmings for some reason.

Kirby's a pretty major series for Nintendo - has there ever been a Kirby title released overseas that didn't get a US release?

I found one:  Kirby's Toy Box but, that was probably only because it was on Satellaview.

I'd plant this game firmly in the "only find out its coming out in North America in the E3 press kit" category.

There was a Super SNES version of Kirby Star Stackers that was released in early 1998 in Japan that was never released outside of Japan.  Of course this was well over 1.5 years after the N64 was released and we did get the Game Boy version of the game in 1997, so it's understandable why that didn't come over.

In the case of this new Kirby game though, since it's an original title and the 3DS is still only a few months old, plus the fact the 3DS can play DS games, I'd say this game has a 100% chance of making it to North America.
