SSF4 has set the bar high.

I played it multiplayer with/against Karlie at PAX. I found that the multiplayer modes really made this game in a way that Street Fighter does not.

Fun fact, this comes out THE SAME DAY as BlazBlue II Continium Shift

Looks like I will be waiting for this one to drop in price. Blazblue takes priority.

Every time I hear something about Pax East it was James and Karlie, Karlie and James. Did everyone else hang out in the retro lounge the whole time?

If it was anything like it was last year, the retro area is easily the best part of PAX. I spent pretty much all of Saturday going back and forth between the free play areas, spending the most time in the retro room.

Looking forward to this. Was interested in this more then Street Fighter but picked up SF anyway. Didn't care for it to much so it's been resold. Hopefully DoA will be more to my liking.

So i've never been a fighting game fan, always tried a few, but found them diffecult
from the new person view point.  So will this game ease a new player in,
or throw them in the deep end with the sharks.
I hear its made to be an entry level friendly game, but they had the best players
in the world help them test it.
for a historically none fighting game player, is it worth a purchase, or stick
with smash bros.?
