The publisher discusses their debut Nintendo 3DS effort.

Cubic Ninja from AQ Interactive is scheduled to arrive in Japan later this month, and to prepare for the launch of the game, the publisher has released some new details and screens for the game.

Cubic Ninja is an action puzzle game in which you guide a box-shape ninja through over 100 courses to the different stage goals. Everything is controlled using gyro controls, meaning you have to tilt the Nintendo 3DS in order to complete each level.

Each level is also filled with power-ups, such as scrolls which will grant your character special ninja actions.

The game also offers a stage editor that allows players to create their very own levels. These creations can then be shared with other players via the SpotPass feature or through QR codes.

Cubic Ninja arrives in Japan on April 7 for ¥3,990.

Talkback

I really hope that the use of gyro-controls does not become a trend. They are the very reason I do not like to play games on my Ipod Touch.
