To help you with the month delay, there's a new trailer.

Conduit 2, previously scheduled for February 15, 2011, is now slated to debut on March 22, 2011, according to publisher Sega.

The game, a sequel to 2009's The Conduit, was originally scheduled for fall 2010, but it slipped from that release window into 2011.

Shouldn't that say previously scheduled for Feb. 15th? ;)

Wasn't it originally scheduled for sometime between Sept. & Nov. of 2010?

Why would they want to delay this to combat with the 3DS HYPE?

But I am liking the weapons. All they need is a Cerebral Bore type weapon and my interest doubles.

Oh good. Now it's in COMPLETELY direct competition with all the other shooters that didn't want to share a launch window with Halo Reach and Call of Duty. (Homefront, Killzone 3, FEAR 3, Brink, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm...)

I can see how this is much better than launching opposite Black Ops.

If I had a buck for every time Sega marketing shot themselves in the foot, I'd have enough money to buy Sega.

Oh god, you're right. I forgot that there were so many shooters due in the first quarter of 2011.

If the game need more time for refinement and polish then its better that they delay it. Rushing the game out in order to get in on holiday season 2010 might have been more profitable in the short term, but in the long term its better to have an excellent quality game with long legs. So if there was a need for them to delay it then I'm glad they did.

Well to be fair, that comment was posted before we knew the exact 3DS release date. I guess it's good they are shoving it out the door before 3DS hits the streets otherwise it could be overlooked when people are scrambling to buy up all the 3DS anything they find.

Strange, I wonder what that extra month of time is necessary for?

There are no other shooters coming out for the Wii, and there are always shooters coming out for the other systems so they aren't concerned with what they're doing. The original delay was avoiding Goldeneye and Call of Duty Black Ops on Wii.

Well isn't it obvious?!  They're trying to get away from the 2/07 release of Mario Sports Mix and the 2/22 release of de Blob 2.  Against those heavy-hitters, the likes of High Voltage stand no chance.  Better to release alongside Crysis 2.

Determined to be overlooked and undersold?
