A set of six cards will be included for launching pre-installed software.
The Nintendo 3DS will come packed with the console, a charging cradle and AC adapter, a telescoping stylus, a 2GB SD card, and also a set of six cards that are used to activate pre-installed augmented reality (AR) games from the 3DS.
As seen with the Target Shooting demo at E3, by training the camera onto one of the special cards, the 3D screen displays morphs surroundings captured by the camera and adds targets and enemies that appear to emerge from the background of the card.
These AR games are shown as part of the video Nintendo released today covering the 3DS features.
