Also, more details as to why it got delayed again.

Flip's Twisted World is now listed for an October 19 release according to publisher Majesco and retailers.

"Right now [Nintendo of America] is overloaded due to the upcoming holiday release season so our final approval and manufacturing dates got pushed out," said Julian Spillane, CEO of developer Frozen North Productions.

This follows the news yesterday about the game being delayed on the day of its supposed release.

Flip's Twisted World, a 3D platformer featuring a game mechanic where you have to rotate the world around you, was originally supposed to come out in 2009, and has been delayed several times already.

Talkback

Man, this kind of sucks. I was looking forward to playing this game now, but if it doesn't come out until mid-October, I'll be busy with Kirby, Rock Band 3, and more.

Aye. If the delay was to avoid the hubbub around Super Mario Galaxy 2, that's understandable, but now with this second delay, it's right in the middle of the busiest period of the year for game releases. It does not bode well for Flip's Twisted World.

Looks like I was about right with what I said in the other thread, except... this is actually Nintendo's fault?

That explanation doesn't seem to make sense.

Don't buy this game when it comes out!

The gameplay is mediocre at best. Had a chance to check it out earlier this year when they previewed it at Anime North here in Toronto, and it was both frustrating and boring. Maybe it's good for little kids but there's a ton of other games I'd rather play. Not worth the list price and it's not something you'd play more than once.

Also, from what I hear, they don't treat their talent very well. Check this out: http://emilyschooley.com/blog/?p=185

That's rather unsettling. I think that the studio needs to address this behavior.

To be fair I don't like how companies seem to dump their whole PR, HR, accounting, etc departments into the game credits but yeah, they're still dicks.

It's Majesco. They never get anything right.
