A dual-screen platformers, a strategy game, and a DS karaoke title lead the way in this light week.

The first title on WiiWare is Space Trek from CALARIS. It features six big levels of ship-base combat as you control the witty Captain Jay in his fight against the villainous Knagar. Your ship can use one of six weapons that wield such names as the Quark Dispeller or the Anti-Matter Thrower. It is a single-player affair that is available for 700 Wii Points ($7).

The only other title on WiiWare this week is A Monsteca Corral: Monsters vs. Robots. Developed by Onteca, the title is a full 3D strategy game with 20 levels of monster-and-robot-dueling action. You take control of the natives of the world of Monsteca, the monster-like Stompies, as they fight against invading robotic hordes. Featuring four-player gameplay, A Monsteca Corral is 500 Wii Points ($5).

The week's headline game on DSiWare is Divergent Shift, which was originally known as Reflection. Published by Konami, this 800 DSi Point ($8) game is a puzzle platformer where you have to control two characters at the same time.

3D Mahjong is the second game on DSiWare this week. This 3D version of the popular tile-matching game is from cosmigo, and features 50 different layouts that can all be shuffled in numerous ways. It also includes extra mini-games, and is 500 DSi Points ($5).

myNotebook: Carbon is the third title on DSiWare. The latest in Nnooo's popular DSiWare series, it includes 128 virtual pages to write on, the ability to export pages to the DSi Photo Album, 24 unlockables squared and lined paper styles, and five ink colors. It is available for 500 DSi Points ($5).

Just SING! National Anthems is the final game of the week. This DSiWare title is from Engine Software and is available for 200 DSi Points ($2). The game has a World Cup 2010 feel as you have to use the DSi microphone to sing the national anthems of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Japan, and the United States.

Someone mentioned this week and I tried to appease them. If you go to the site, you can see pictures of each game in the image gallery.
