A pair of Aero the Acro-Bat games and Ufouria are coming soon.
Today Sunsoft announced that they are bringing three new titles to Virtual Console in North America: Aero the Acro-Bat 1 and 2 (SNES), and Ufouria: The Saga (NES).
1993's Aero the Acro-Bat is the first game in a franchise created by now-defunct Iguana Entertainment, orginators of the Turok franchise on Nintendo 64. It is an action-platformer featuring a red bat named Aero trying to save his circus, The World of Amusement, from the evil Edward Ektor. It features 20 levels as well as bonus stages, and will sell for 800 Wii Points.
Aero the Acro-Bat 2 is the first game's 1994 SNES follow-up, expanding on the original concept with 45 levels, Bonus Rounds, Hidden Chambers, Chance Stages, as well as the ability for Aero to upgrade his skills. Aero once again faces off with Edgar Ektor, and you can ensure he reigns supreme for 800 Wii Points.
Ufouria: The Saga, known as Hebereke in Japan, is seeing release in North America for the very first time. It is an action adventure title featuring exploratory gameplay, and four different characters that must all be used to beat the game. It will sell for 600 Wii Points.
All three games are set for a summer release, with the original Aero the Acro-Bat releasing this month.
