Two games for the price of one!

The second Fire Emblem remake for the Nintendo DS is due out next month in Japan, and Nintendo has been releasing all sorts of juicy tidbits of information about the game. Today they released what is arguably one of the biggest – the inclusion of BS Fire Emblem: Record of Akeneia Wars as bonus content.

BS Fire Emblem – with the "BS" standing for "Broadcast Satellite" – was released for the Super Famicom satellite receiver Satellaview in 1997, and then again in 1999. The game serves as a prequel to the first Fire Emblem game, which was remade for the Nintendo DS two years ago.

The latest Fire Emblem game hits Japan on July 15.

...for DS and not 3DS?

Am I the only one that reads this as basically...

Get the new Fire Emblem game and you'll get the bullsh** Fire Emblem along with it!

I don't see the need for it to be 3DS compatible. I'm excited that we are getting more FE and the extra campaign is nice too.
