New and old scenes combine to form the Japanese trailer.

We saw a new trailer for Other M yesterday, but Nintendo has updated the Japanese Metroid site with their own version. While much of the trailer repeats scenes from the English version, there are a number of new scenes, and other portions of the Mother Brain Super Metroid scene are shown. Watch it below!

Putting aside how I feel about control option decision made for the game, the trailer looks awesome. I have my $20 gift card from Walmart waiting to be put towards this.

how does that work ? you get the money when you order it when you pick it up? Online orders only? If I want the game day 1 can I ship it to store and pick it up that way?

by the way it's an awesome trailer. Zerio Mission and Prime have sex and this is the baby. The 1st person cursor movement seemed a little slow in that jungle area, I hope you can tweak the speed

I ordered SMG2 from Walmart and it gave me an instant $20 credit (I wish I waited on the same deal from Amazon though) that I can use for anything in Walmart. so now I got SMG2 for $30 and I'm gonna get to put that other $20 towards M:OM so that I got both games for $80.

I hope that answers your question otherwise I'm not sure what you were asking.

I still disagree with the artistic decision to put that stupid drop of teriyaki sauce on Sammy's chin. Nonetheless the game is shaping up quite nicely. I see some Speed Booster action there, and it pleases me.

Woah! I hadn't seen this one! Awesome how she froze the hands of the pirate! I guess you can switch on the ice beam when ever you want, and not just in designated areas like some have suggested!

They actually look like ice missiles on the space pirate, man I hope the beams stack.

The controls look really simplistic. Aside from that, the trailer was great.

The more simplistic the better. One reason why I couldn't finish no more heroes. Every time I went back to play I forgot all the little combos. Same with deadly creatures. Yeah they show you but I still find it tough.

Aside from being so pretty, I loved Jungle Beats simplicity with just 3 "buttons". Right Bongo, Left Bongo, and clap, and DK could do anything!

It's pretty wild how well they seem to move, say, the Morph Ball in 3D with just a dpad. I wonder if tilt is involved there...

Jumping into 1st person mode seems a little jarring, too, does that make you immobile?

Game looks great, though. The Team Ninja influence is all over the place, and it makes for a much different game than we'd get from Nintendo. With some proper marketing, this could be the first Wii game that truly appeals to the Halo or God of War fans of the world.

The role of Samus Aran will be played by Cindy Crawford, circa 1992, with a bigger rack.

Pretty certain everything will be on a track, much like Killer 7. Back, forth and up in the air are probably the only directions to go, so left and right on the D Pad is all thats needed.

Tilt is not involved.  You are immobile in first person (except for looking around).

It's not on a track.

Kitty Killer, Samus runs in 8 directions relative to the camera, as the D-pad allows.  It's digital un-3D movement.

It's all in the trailer, you just have to get past your own excitement and see the gameplay that's in the player's hands, and not the cinematic action.
