The classic Nintendo toy returns as an exclusive WiiWare game for Japanese Club Nintendo members.

Nintendo announced a new item for their Club Nintendo service in Japan. The item will be a WiiWare title based on the Ultrahand, known as Wii de Ultrahand (Ultrahand on the Wii).

This is the first time a Wii game of any kind has been offered as a special Club Nintendo reward aside from Doc Louis's Punch-Out!! as an end-of-the-year reward in North America.

The Ultrahand was first released in 1966 and was created by Nintendo visionary Gunpei Yokoi.

In the digital version of the toy, players use the Ultrahand to grab pieces of meat off a grill. If the meat falls away from a plate, the game is over. The game uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to extend the Ultrahand.

In addition to the single-player mode, a two-player mode is also available. The goal of the mode is to grab as many pieces of meat as possible in 90 seconds.

The download costs Japanese Club Nintendo members 50 Club Nintendo Points. Once the purchase is made, the members are given a special code that lets them download the game.

Great, now I just need the severed hand of Jesse James and a magnet so I can get my ring back.
