Talkback

Ages ago, Tecmo said they were developing versions of Tecmo Bowl for both Wii and DS.  The DS game is on shelves now.  Is this what happened to the Wii game?

Yes.

And we all cried together...

I've often thought that Nintendo should develop a Mario Power Football game in line with the other Mario sports titles.  This might be the closest thing.

i think I wished for that numerous times in the past.
Sadness that Tecmo Bowl Wii has been crushed aside, this looks to be a decent arcade-style game. Although the new screens seem to contain few moments of actual football and just have mini-games.

I'll send the idea over to Next Level Games...
