I think it's ridiculous that Wolfgang is in it (I still think it was stupid that Eddie let his 16 year old son join the band in 2006), but Sammy Hagar won't be.

I am bad when it comes to rock and roll history, but was Sammy Haggar kicked out of the group or did he voluntarily left?

Hagar left in 1996 after a variety of issues (including objecting to recording 2 songs for the soundtrack to the movie Twister since the band had agreed to take time off after their 1995 world tour). He left again at the end of their 2005 tour after Eddie Van Halen relapsed on his alcoholism.

I don't know much about GH: Aerosmith, cuz i'm not into them much, but I recall hearing that for at least GH: Metallica, the non-Metallica bands featured in the game would at least be related somehow; ie a band that inspired/was inspired by Metallica. Right?

So i kinda figured that GH: Van Halen would be the same way, but then I look at that set-list and have to think "What the fuck are blink182 doing there?" and this is coming from someone that actually likes the band lol!

The songs in spinoffs are also from bands that the the game's artist likes (which means you are correct in that at least someone from Van Halen likes blink-182). I have never heard a Van Halen song before but I love some of the songs from other artists in the game.

Ah ok, that makes some more sense now. Like i said, i'm a fan of blink182 and i've never once heard of them mention VH as an inspiration or anything, so it was just a little odd to me. A band like Weezer i can imagine (look at their =w= logo, clearly VH influenced) but blink threw me off.

I'm going to guess if anyone in the band likes blink, its Wolfgang :P
Oh and I'm sure you've heard a VH song or two, and just never realized it.

Talk about a pathetic band to choose to base an entire game around. Van Halen? Gag.

Alter Bridge will be a nice addition.
