WiiWare title gets rating, and a new site and video footage are on the way.

Gravitronix was announced as a WiiWare exclusive in October 2007. Medaverse Studios, the development house located in Dover, New Hampshire, has kept quiet on the game’s progress since then. Small tidbits of info have been available through their developer’s blog, but not much has been revealed so far.

Now Gravitronix is slowly becoming a reality for the independent game studio, and should see release soon. The ESRB has rated the game as E for Everyone with no descriptors of the game’s content.

Lead Designer Jesse Lowther told Nintendo World Report that a new website with new video footage will be unveiled soon:

"We plan on launching the official Gravitronix website shortly, complete with at least two trailers for the game. One will be a two-minute intro trailer with a bit of flashiness, while the second will be an in-depth look at Gravitronix and some of the deeper strategies found within the game."

Gravitronix is an action/battle game for 1-8 players. It involves twisting either the Wii Remote or Nunchuk to slide your paddle along the outside of a circular arena. As a player, you have a section of the circle you need to defend from the attacks of other players in the arena. This is accomplished with the use of two gravity beams, one to attract and one to repel objects and use them to attack the territories of your opponents.
