The port of the popular engine has been completed with optimized support for Wii and the Wii Remote.

GarageGames and Pronto Games have completed the port of the Torque Engine to Wii. The engine has been fully optimized for Wii and includes extensive Wii Remote support.

The Torque Engine has been used for the development of the popular Xbox Live Arcade Game, Marble Blast Ultra, as well as the upcoming title, Penny Arcade Adventures. It will also be used for the Wii exclusive The Destiny of Zorro, in development by Pronto Games.

GarageGames is making the engine available for Wii developers as long as they are a certified Nintendo developer. They also offer a WiiWare specific license at a discounted cost. GarageGames is targeting WiiWare developers with their 2D drag and drop game creation features and built-in scripting language support, easing development for smaller game developers.

Though there is a strong push to WiiWare devs, the Torque Engine is scalable for use with larger titles as well.

Someone needs to combine all these Wii game engines into a powerful mega engine. Like Voltron.
