Talkback

That fact that Wii Sports is in there for Best Game means quite a bit.

IceColdFebruary 07, 2007

It deserves to be.

Smoke39February 07, 2007

Wii Sports is overrated.

Have you played it with friends or family yet?

Smoke39February 07, 2007

No. I don't enjoy playing boring games with my friends.

IceColdFebruary 07, 2007

You just suck at it.

Smoke39February 07, 2007

I'm not very good at it, but I've gotten a little bit better. Regardless, though, I don't have to be particularly good at a game to be able to appreciate it. I just think the game's boring.

There's so many levels of pity in this post. I cannot begin to fathom how disappointing life must be for you emot-zoid1.gif

I second that motion...

Seriously, its EXTREMELY hard to deny that Wii sports has an amazing appeal that has turned the Wii into the most sought out item in the industry right now.

The REAL power of Wii sports comes when you show them to other people. It's hard to find someone not desiring a Wii after playing Wii sports. Hell, both of my parents, who haven't played a game since the NES days, started playing it after watching me and SB play it.

So Smoke, give the game a second chance than to dismiss it simply because you aren't good at it or you don't care for it.

Simply because you found it boring it doesn't mean that your friends and family will think so too, unless you have total control of how they think, act, communicate and how they pursue their free will.

Either that or you are being a troll...

CericFebruary 09, 2007

I thought it was sort of funny how many times Viva Pinata shows up. I do want to play that game... Maybe one day.

PaleMike Gamin, Contributing EditorFebruary 09, 2007

Man, last year really was quite the year for innovative games. These awards really show how new genres are created and existing genres are changed. While I could sit here and complain that I don't personally like some of the games Gears and Dead Rising, I won't sit here and say that they don't deserve the nominations.

Smoke39February 09, 2007

What the heck are you on about, Pap? Just because I don't like a game you're enamored with doesn't make me a troll.
