Turok Evolution was a bit of a mixed bag for me, but it wasn't really the game's fault.
The Turok demo forces you to play with a specific control scheme that is actually the opposite of the original Turok scheme. Movement and strafing were on the control stick with looking on the camera stick. The enemies in the demo were pretty brutal and I wasn't able to get very far with that particular control scheme. What I did see looked good graphically though. The final version will have other presets and possibly fully customizable controls as well.
In addition to a shooting level, there were also flying levels available. The flying levels looked very nice and the controls seemed good (though dinosaurs don't exactly control like airplanes). I flew around a bit and shot up some enemies while weaving around obstacles. It should make a fun addition to Turok's shooting levels.
