Are you ready for some football? Hell yes! It's in stores, and we've got it. Favre to Freeman....TOUCHDOWN!!!
I have just poked my head up from 2 very intense games of Madden NFL 2002. After seeing the Packers dismantle the Bears today, I was all about playing football all night long. I heard from a friend that the local EB had started selling Madden for GameCube, so I rushed to the store right after the game. I’ve been playing Sega’s NFL2K2, and the PS2 version of Madden 2002 for a couple weeks now, and I will admit, Madden 2002 for the GameCube is one of the finest football games available...period.
Here are the improvements I've noticed the GameCube version has over the PS2 version:
Okay that was a little fanboy-ish but it’s nice to play Madden with a GameCube controller. Outside of the above, Madden 2002 for GameCube is virtually identical to it’s PS2 counterpart. It just has a few upgrades that make it a bit better. Seeing that Nintendo has lacked a superior football game for a while, it’s nice to see EA has delivered one of the finest football games just in time for the GameCube launch.
