Kuru Kuru Kururin

by Michael Cole - May 12, 2001, 8:39 pm EDT

TYP also tried out Kuru Kuru against Billy, and reports on his experience.

We used Kuru Kuru Kururin's one-cart setup to play some crazy puzzle racing. The game is great! According to Billy, the multiplayer levels are exclusivly multiplayer.

The game is hard to play at first. One needs to get used to the speed of the rotating stick and what a player can get away with ;-) A little meter on the bottom of the screen tells you how far your opponent(s) are along on the course. This can be quite entertaining, as you can watch someone get close to the end. The suspense can kill a person with a weak heart.

Billy smoked me for the first 25 games or so... but then I discoverd I had forgotten to use B (or A) to speed up. After that, I closed the gap and managed to even PASS HIM!!!! Not bad for never playing it before, eh?

Overall, this crazy game is fun for all ages!
