Keeping some things the same, but aiming for long term changes as well.

Nintendo gave an interview with the Nikkei newspaper following the announcement of Tatsumi Kimishima as company president.

Kimishima confirmed in the interview that Nintendo would continue the plans of transition laid out by the late Satoru Iwata, including the transition to new generation hardware and starting a mobile strategy. Longer term, Kimishima is looking to identify new projects and people to help Nintendo reach "Nintendo-like profits".

Newly appointed Technology Fellow Genyo Takeda said in the same interview that the company is looking to establish a future-proof group leadership system within the company, suggesting longer-term changes are coming to Nintendo's structure.
