RCMADIAX returns with another simple yet addictive arcade style experience!

The developer RCMADIAX is carving their niche by releasing small and snappy arcade games. Like them or hate them, the studio puts significant effort into their games.  Because of this, their games have a stand-out visual style. We got a very early look at Super Robo Mouse and got to experience three levels from the title.

In the game, you control a cute robot mouse traversing through a maze. Your goal is to collect all the metal cheese in each maze and go to the exit as swift as you can. While a maze may not sound exciting, when you play it you appreciate the game's design. Along the way you will have to overcome all sorts of obstacles as they try to take out our hero. One hit and it is all over, so much  precision and quick movement is required to survive.

The very first level of the game directly sets the tone by having a mini, laser-shooting robot right at the beginning. That is only the start of your troubles as small and giant saw blades pass you by and hinder your movement wherever possible. The maze itself does not challenge you much in the first stage, but the difficulty quickly ramped up in the second and third stages of the demo. There are several passageways that you can take and some will really trick you in taking the incorrect path. The enemies become also harder to overcome as spiky floors and walls try to crush you into little bits.

At the end of the day, I really enjoyed what RCMADIAX is trying to do here. If the mazes are as clever in the final game, I surely think that the studio has a winner on its hands. It became addicting to hunt for that metal cheese and overconfidence was more than often my downfall. We will wait a while before we know what ideas this Wii U eShop title has been cooking up as Super Robo Mouse releases in 2015!
