Netflix Now Available to UK Wii Owners

The popular video streaming service has made its way to the Wii in the UK

Wii owners in the UK and Ireland can now stream TV shows and movies on their Wii through Netflix.

Netflix, which has been available on the Wii in America for quite some time, is available for a subscription fee of Â£5.99. To download Netflix onto your Wii, visit the Wii Shop Channel. Under the Wii Channels menu select "Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii", then download the software for free.

The Netflix service just began in the UK on January 9. Unlike the American version of the service, subscribers will not be able to get DVD's by mail.
