The fifth entry in the Layton series was a 3DS launch title in Japan, and now its European release has been teased.

In a recent trailer for the fourth installment of the Professor Layton Series in Europe, it was revealed that the fifth entry is coming to Europe next year.

In the last few seconds of the European launch trailer players were teased by the exclaiming words "Get ready for an all-new Layton next year!" These final few seconds also reveal that the new title is a 3DS game. 

Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle was a 3DS launch game in Japan and is expected to come overseas in the future. The 3DS Layton title teased in the trailer is most likely Mask of Mircale.
