The "La Central de Diseno de Matadero" museum in Madrid, Spain will be holding a special Super Mario exhibit in honor of the plumber's 25th anniversary. Titled "Once Upon a Super Mario," artists from all over the world will present their vision of Mario and his colorful universe.

"We have tried to capture the spirit of Mario's imaginary world," said Miguel Espada and Juan Santa Cruz, members of espadaysantacruz studio, the team behind the exhibition.

In addition to the "Once Upon a Super Mario" exhibit, a special event called "Miyamoto's Way" will honor the plumber's creator through interactive panels and play some of his games. Finally, visitors will be able to render their vision of the character using Art Academy for the DS. The drawings will then be part of a collection of drawings that will be hung from the ceiling.

The exhibition will run from September 9 to October 3.
