Japanese Children to learn English from early age via their DS

 Benesse Corporation, a leader in language learning tools for Japanese children, has announced an intensive English language course for Nintendo DS.  The 18 title series is targeted at Elementary school students.  The “dynamic learning" DS program will offer written and verbal challenges and chart the user’s progress.  Single volumes retail for 3,990 Yen ($37).  Combination packs range from 11,550-15,400 Yen ($107-143) and the complete set will cost 24,990 Yen ($232).  They will be available for preorder in Japan beginning December 3 and ship in early January.
