Skull Kid Collectable From First 4 Figures
« on: October 16, 2006, 11:38:44 AM »
The creators of the Metroid figures have come up with a creation from Majora's Mask.

Legend of Zelda Skull Kid Collectible Statue From First 4 Figures

The Skull Kid was a curious little fellow, often finding trouble in the most unexpected of places with his fairy friends Tatl and Tael. One day in the forest, the trio happened to come across the most peculiar of people, a traveling mask salesman. When the merchant was paying him no mind, the Skull Kid took a very precious mask. This was no ordinary mask; this was a special mask, a dark and cursed mask. This was Majora's Mask. Donning the strange artifact, the Skull Kid would harness a power far beyond his imagination. Little did he know, however, that he was to become a puppet, an unsuspecting pawn to the very mask itself. Possessed and corrupted, the once lighthearted and amusingly mischievous imp inadvertently unleashes a powerful and threatening force upon the peaceful inhabitants of Termina. Now time is running nigh, as the will of Majora swiftly mobilizes its servant into drawing an ominous moon from the heavens on a collision course towards the helpless people below…

First 4 Figures is proud to present the Skull Kid, the second collectible statue in First 4 Figures’ Legend of Zelda collectible statue series. The pose captures the unimaginable power that the Skull Kid felt when wearing the mask. Accurately keeping scale with current and future statues in the series, the Skull Kid statue stands at approximately 9 inches, including the base.

Cast in high quality poly-stone, the statue is hand finished and hand painted. Comes packed in a foam interior full colored box with a card of authenticity. Highly limited at only 2,500 pieces available worldwide.

I find it funny that people on this forum say that the PS3 is too expensive when half of them are willing to pay 1/6th of that for a stationary figurine. :P

Six of those would look better next to my TV than a PS3.

Eh, I don't really like the looks of it.  The colors are too bright and vivid.  It's TH3 K1DD13!

Seriously, neon green and fruit rollup red don't go together.

EDIT:  This is better.

Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

But the stationary figure is prettier than the PS3 and they'll both do the same thing about a month after they're released.

It looks great, but there's no way I'm paying two games worth of greenbacks for a figurine...

If you collect these types of things often, you see that this price isn't so bad. Thats a perfect price especialy since it will be on display in my house from once I have until the end of time.
