Topic: Japanese Cube Modem Compatible for US

Looks like we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief...

Importers have been worried as to whether the Nintendo GameCube Japanese 56k Modem Adapter will be compatible with US systems.  There were even rumours that the Japanese modem would not be compatible with US systems.  But, it turns out that they were just that - rumours.  The Nintendo GameCube Japanese 56k Modem will work just fine on US consoles, along with the Japanese consoles that they were designed for.  The 56k Modem also works just fine on the Panasonic Q, for those that are interested.  Well, phew.

Importers of Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II can rest easy, as they can now spend countless hours slaughtering monsters, harassing overseas players and typing in stuff in Japanese to confuse players to no end.
