Quanities are limited, but demand probably won't be.  Find out what these limited edition figures look like, and how you can get one before someone else does!

Samus Aran’s Varia and Gravity Suit Collectible Statues From First 4 Figures

With the instantly recognizable bulky round orange shoulder pieces, Samus Aran’s Varia Suit has served the interstellar bounty huntress well. Her Varia suit, with the ability to resist even the most extreme of temperatures, has helped Samus on her quest of aiding the Galactic Federation in defeating the Space Pirates and eradication of the deadly Metroids. Throughout her mission, her suit has the ability to be upgraded. One such essential upgrade is the Gravity Suit, with its purple and blue color scheme, which allows Samus to walk underwater unhindered and often protecting her from acid and lava.

First 4 Figures is extremely proud to present Samus Aran’s Varia and Gravity Suits, the first collectible statues in First 4 Figures’ highly anticipated suit series based on Retro Studios’ Metroid Prime game trilogy. First 4 Figures has used the official game files in order to create an extremely accurate recreation of the Varia suit, with pose inspiration taken from official Metroid Prime Varia Suit artwork. The suit series will include, but not limited to, Samus Aran’s Light Suit, Dark Suit and Phazon suit.

Cast in high quality poly-stone, the statue is hand finished and hand painted with metallic paints to give an authentic representation of the suits. Comes packed in a foam interior full colored box with a card of authenticity. The Varia Suit is limited at only 2,500 pieces worldwide online and local specialty stores. The Gravity Suit is highly limited at just 250 pieces worldwide, only exclusively available through the First 4 Figures online store.

Am I missing something, or are these just exactly the same figure with a different color scheme?  I seem to remember more structural differences between the suits in Metroid Prime.

I call em statues, and I buy about 2 or 3 a month. Does anyone else collect these things? I wanted to start with Nintendo statues about a year ago, but since there were none, I went to my second love which is Marvel.

100 bucks is a very good price for a full size statue. I just wish they had different poses. If I recall correctly, the concept art of the Light Suit is in the same exact pose. And because I am a super hard core statue collecter(but only of the characters I cherish most) I will get one of each.

But I don't buy them all, if they aren't well done, and/or don't have a perfect resembelence of the character(at least by my vision) I wont touch it.

Nintendo players and One Piece readers, just better people.

I would buy it, but I just don't like the pose.

I'm a statue/figurine collector, so I'm pretty picky when it comes to stuff that costs $30+(CAD), I think the most I've spent was $115(CAD) and it was at half-price.

Oh btw, depending on the material it is made of is a factor for it's price, I'm not an expert so I can 't say if these "high quality poly-stone" statues are worth the $99.

That be a sight.  Isn't Samus like 6+ feet in her armor?

Well, some stores have figures of Master Chief, Horney, Lara Croft or Sam Fisher but I think those cost a bit more than 100$.

The Super Metroid player's guide lists her as 6'3" not counting the armor.
