You're right. All they need now are self-driving electric cars driving and the whole country would be open for easy, self-sustained travel.

Can't wait to hop in my car, or one that I flag down, and it asks me 'Where to?' and I can reasonably say to the 'My girlfriend's house, the liqour store, the cigar shop, and then the beach.' And then recline on the massage couch, play some music, and read.

For as much as i LOVE driving, I personally can not wait till drive by wire (aka self driving cars) becomes the standard. Especially on some self sustained energy recharging road.

what ruins a good drive for me is all the idiot drivers out there that don't know where they are going; wait till the last second to to get over 4 lanes because that's their exit, so now they need to stop all traffic so they can get over instead of just going up to the next exit and coming back; don't know how to merge; constantly in the wrong lane for the speed they wish to travel (aka GET THE **** OUT OF THE FAST LANE IF YOU WISH TO DRIVE 60mph ON THE FREEWAY AND THERE IS NO ONE INFRONT OF YOU, BUT A LEAST 1 OTHER CAR BEHIND YOU NOW RIDING YOUR ASS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T GET AROUND YOU)... sorry for the quick rant.

So if self-driving cars is how I get to remove these idiots from the driver seat, then that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

I wanted a Galaxy Note, but the one cause for pause is size. Seems they are addressing that, with the possibility of making it even bigger... and it won't matter.

I honestly see no use or appeal for foldable displays, at least for phones. Motherboards don't fold, and neither do batteries.

being able to carry a tablet in you pocket that folds down to the size of a flip phone?
that is a literal game changer phone product.

You could have a Galaxy Note with a 12" screen that folds down into something the size of Galaxy 8, where it still retains smart phone functionality in it's folded form.
There is soooo much appeal in that, that everyone will be trying to copy this as soon as it viable, from phones, to tablet, to TV's

Wait, isn't the screen going to get destroyed just from normal use? Almost every phone has Gorilla glass or equivalent to protect the screen. There is no plastic equivalent that isn't going to fall apart.

Right. LG released the Flex and it was just silly. But like I've said, motherboards and batteries do not bend or fold. I suppose manufacturers can go back to using flex cables and stuff, but what about the "hinge" as well?
