hopefully the black dsl's dont see the crack "epidemic" the white ones have (wow that sounds racial for some reason). i'd hate to hear of a black dsl cracking. those are, after all, the most beautiful dsl's out there ;-)

i'd be scared take apart a ds too. i was actually thinking of doing thta with an mp3 player i own; buying a second one and switching a few parts around to have the color combination i want (black and red) but i'd be just too nervous of messing it up and wasting about $600, not to mention a replacement mp3 player.

Oh bloody hell, I've been too busy these past few days...Hey, Flonne, I hope you aren't scared away like the many before you!  (Oh right, I'm Bill, the nut that vudu mentioned above...)

I keep toying around with the idea of getting a pink one from Japan and making a pink/black hybrid dsl.

This sounds like the best idea ever...I just wish I had the money to attempt such a feat... >=|

the only worthy black/pink DSL would be one with the image of Lacus Clyne.....

or with a Haro! ^^

that black/pink hybrid might be pretty sweet. though i think one way might look a lil sweeter than the other.

i've toying with the idea of giving my DS Phat a paint job and pimping it out and making it truly phat. I do want to do some type of paint job that is for sure.

Nice to meet you as well!    I saw the crack thread and have been keeping a hawk eye on my dsl ever since.  So far, no signs of cracking, but the black ones did come out later than the white ones.  Might just take a bit longer for them to develop.  :/

I keep toying around with the idea of getting a pink one from Japan and making a pink/black hybrid dsl.  I think I'm too scared of taking the covers off to actually go through with it.

The error only seems to happen when posting in the Newbie Check-In thread.  I've never experienced it any other time I post.  It's really weird.  Maybe it's a way to scare off the Newbies from our "broken" forums.

If anything scares them off it will be the sudden explosion of activity in the newbie check-in thread just because a girl showed up.

I was checking my date that I official got to join it was Dec. 23, 2005.  I thought that was odd.  I could have sworn I joined in 2004.  Oh well.  That makes me relatively new and I never checked in.  I must have been around the board a lot before that.  I know I was here for E3 '05.

Hopefully no one gets that excited, I'm probably older than most of you, and I already have a boyfriend.

On the other hand, I've played MMOs enough that I'm pretty hard to frighten.

Black/Pink DSes: I have a feeling it would look better with the pink clamshell, and the black inside/binding.  And I think it might look just as good with the black/light blue.  The bottom looks easy to remove, but I'd be afraid of digging out the square caps for the top.  Seems like on cell phones those caps never go back quite right.

Trauma Center: I'm on Chapter 5 and have hit the "operate on 5 people in 10 minutes" and after trying it once haven't tried again recently.  I need to sit down and try it again, but I've been checking out new games and finishing up Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

I just got Trace Memory and I love it!  I really like how they use all the DS features to help solve the puzzles.

Error Messages: I got it while posting the original post about Opera for the DS, but haven't gotten it on the followup posts, iirc.

I know, trauma center is evil. Thats the same level my friend got made at, and threw his ds against the wall for. I am on the last boss on partners in time, and have been that way for months. Its freakin hard, the hardest boss i have ever fought ( besides the last one on mp2).
