The controller is one of the revolutionary components.  That's been said a bunch of times by a bunch of people at Nintendo.  However, it's also been hinted that the controller is not the ONLY revolutionary part of the system...

Just like people have said, they need to reveal the damn thing. Not only reveal, but show us exactly how it works and what is so beneficial about it.

Give a tech demo, show specs, show videos, and offer exciting information about new IP's or old IP's rehashed (Kid Icarus or something). If they show the controller, then they should show EVERYTHING else. Tell us what the REV online setup will look like and how it'll function. Show us the real REV system; what it looks like when it's powered up; what the main menu looks like and so on and so forth.

Ya know what this is all reminding me of, Nintendo Wifi with the Ds.  Dont ya guys remember saying "OMG if they dont announce their online plan before the PSP the DS is teh doooooomed!"  lol, and look what happened, so far I have heard people who werent Nintendo fans anymore lookin at the Ds because they want free online mario kart.  I think they will announce soon, I have a new faith in nintendo, I really believe Iwata is starting  to change the image of nintendo around with the ds, and that is just going to be a taste of what the rev will bring.

Ian, NOBODY is going to make their mind up about the Revolution before Nintendo show it, NOBODY. It won't hurt them to keep it secret for a while longer, if that's what they have to do.

Thanks to Bill Aurion and his good find of Miyamoto's interview (Thread) Miyamoto himself has said that news would be coming soon.

Here is the quote after I used babel fish to translate from french

Quote

In any case, you like to preserve the mystery at Nintendo !

We will give much details soon. We like to make surprises, it is true (laughter). While our players sleep, we are digging us the head on our next concepts. But while they play, and well we play too!

"And when it is thought that that failed to pass to the trap door! Miyamoto was expressed with the radio Japanese woman; between two songs, of appearance surprised, during an emission on the video games of 10 min which informs beautiful Nintendo , a few days ago.

It is new and it is on Puissance Nintendo in first. It is regretted just that the Master remains still a little too discrete and that it appears only in this type of media to be expressed so naturally. Even if the secrecies prove kept still well on the various projects of big N and that the dad of Mario cannot reveal some too much. Normal.

No frustration, just a lack of shivers "

what the hell is he on?

Yikes!...that's a lot of reading.  Most of the info on there are just rumors and a good portion of those were proven false.  I'm not saying it's not an intersting read because I've read most of it myself, just making sure anyone that that goes there knows it's just like any other blog on the Rev.  Good thing about this one though is the blogger states it's fake if he finds out it is.

Anyway, according to the nifty countdown on the top of the blog, 5 days 18 hours left!

Here are the times:

Quote

Tokyo, Japan: 11:00, 16.9.2005

Berlin, Germany: 04:00, 16.9.2005

London, UK: 03:00, 16.9.2005

New York, USA: 22:00, 15.9.2005

Los Angeles, USA: 19:00, 15.9.2005

Yep that means it'll be the 16h in Japan but the 15th in the USA!

God damnit, can't we get rid of the Never Happening name yet?

How many times must we prove to ourselves that Nintendo's never going to make some uber-big surprise announcement?
