Mario Kart Bonus Disc Contents Revealed
« on: October 07, 2003, 07:41:34 AM »
Once you see what's on it, you might want to pre-order if you haven't considered doing so already.

Online game retailer GameStop has listed the contents of the bonus disc that will be available to those who pre-order Mario Kart: Double Dash.  The disc will feature five playable games, seven game movies, and special unlockables for a GBA game.  Here's the skinny:

Playables:

  • Mario Party 5
  • F-Zero GX
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • Star Wars Rebel Strike
  • Sonic Heroes

Movies:

  • 1080 Avalanche
  • Kirby Air Ride
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
  • Pokémon Coliseum
  • Quidditch World Cup
  • Spongebob Square Pants: The Search for Bikini Bottom
  • NBA Live 2004

Additionally, the disc will feature unlocks for Fire Emblem GBA (available two weeks before Mario Kart), which would require the game and a GBA-GC link cable to take advantage of.

Double Dash and the bonus disc comes out on November 17.  Remember, you must pre-order Mario Kart in order to recieve the bonus disc!

I would go for the disc if it only had the Fire Emblem content on it.  Go FE!

It's the translation of the latest GBA version(It involves Roy's father...Hopefully they will put FE7, which has Roy, over here as well if FE 8 sells well)

edit: Might as well add that it is very likely that a GC version will be revealed at next E3...
