Of course it'll be as good as Famitsu says. Famitsu CANNOT be wrong. EVER! Since we know that Too Human is no longer GCN–bound, I officially want this game more than any other.

If you are looking for homo-erotic games, look no further than MGS.  That game breathes of homo-erotic acts.

Personally, I am still anxiously awaiting Baten Kaitos the most, but Tales of Symphonia surely won't dissapoint me.  It seems that despite the nay-sayers, the GameCube is developing quality RPGs at about the same rate that the PS2 did.

Most likely the game will be a launch title for Ninty's next title because of Twin Snakes, as well as some secret title that SK has in store for us.

"Personally, I am still anxiously awaiting Baten Kaitos the most, but Tales of Symphonia surely won't dissapoint me."

i agree totally with you grey- i have been interested in baten kaitos ever since it was announced- it seemed interesting being made by monolith soft, but when i found out that members of tri-ace were developing it as well, the game jumped into my #1 spot of rpgs coming out for any system- i personally love the look of the game and the battle system- tri-ace hasn't dissappointed me yet with any of their battle systems, so i am expecting good things...
but i do love the look of tales of symphonia a lot- the graphics look great and i love the animated cut scenes

"I personally think the story is more important than the gameplay in an RPG, and that's the reason I loved Golden Sun even though the gameplay mechanics weren't the greatest. My bet is on this game having the best story in an RPG to date. "

i hold both to high levels for rpgs, but i like a good battle system in all my rpgs- some rpgs that i love a whole lot have ho hum stories, but their battle systems make up for it- i dont know if the story of tales will be that good, but it should prove to be interesting- i personally would like to learn more of the story of baten kaitos- monolith is known for their rpgs to have epic tales (xenogears, xenosaga) so i expect a lot of that game as well- but finally the gamecube is getting the rpg loving that it deserves!!!
i call the big one bitey.

I would love to see Silicon Knights and some RPG company (Square-Enix, Monolith...whatever) partner up and deliver a RPG/adventure game. With Silicon Knights creative story making and game design, and with a tried and true RPG company, they could make one hell of a game. Hopefully this is what too human comes to be. I know the psx videos prove other wise but things can change.

Baten Kiatos also facinates me. I've been following it ever since its announcement.

That's a great idea. Although, with SK's record, it would probably be the DARKEST storyline to grace an RPG. Not that tha's a BAD thing.

If only Baten Kaitos didn't have those horribly ugly character designs(in my opinion), It would probably rank third on my most wanted RPGs list right beneath ToS and FFXII.  But it likely won't change therefore my interest in the game is still. . . lacking(???).

silicon knights teaming up with an rpg company... that may turn out good if it were to come true
and i do agree with berny that it would be a dark game most likely- which would be an interesting game i would say- the darkest rpg i have played was made by silicon knights- called blood omen: legacy of kain- it was an action rpg and it rocked- but the story line was very dark and moody- a very good game, a bit old, but still great- i would suggest trying it if you have not yet

"is Tales realtime action or turnbased?"

it is realtime- you still have to go to a battle screen after you touch an enemy- then you control one of the characters in your party while the computer controls the others- but i dont how this one will play out since it is the first time they have used a 3d plane for battles- i think you choose the enemy you want to attack and it forms a 2d plane that you can run accross to fight them- it is a lot of fun (the other tales games were) and you can form combo attacks and such as well- but yes the battles are realtime

Which sites do you follow it then? I've been trying to find it in Western gaming sites, but they don't have prescreens of it, let alone a preview. Now I'm confused of what the game is really all about, story, visuals and gameplay wise. Text dialogue or voiceacting? I like epic stories with spiritual/moral education. But also with romances . Please enlighten me.

"Which sites do you follow it then?"

well i usually get some information off of www.the-magicbox.com  they have write ups on it along with lots of screens and sometimes videos- i know planetgamecube just wrote a write up on it so have a look at it- this is by far my most anticipated rpg because of the developers and the look of it

i just remembered- i posted a few movies of baten kaitos earlier in another post- i will put them here now- hope it helps

http://www.n-gamer.com/vortex/videos/batenkaitos/baten_op.wmv
http://www.n-gamer.com/vortex/videos/batenkaitos/baten_story.wmv
http://www.n-gamer.com/vortex/videos/batenkaitos/baten_battle.wmv

one show story, one shows a battle, one shows an opening cinema
just to tell you- the battle may seem card based but it is not- the cards just represent your actions (like the actions in rpg menus- such as fight, magic, item, ect...) so dont think of it as a lost kingdoms type of game- it is different
i call the big one bitey.

The story takes place on an imaginary planet, in which there are 5 continents floating in the clouds, and humans have wings to fly. You play as a young boy named Kalas, who only has one wing, and he is on a quest to find his lost family, and accidentally discovered an evil plan from the empire.

Thats basically all we know about the story and he has amnesia in the begining so you will probably get flash backs or find out bad things about yourself while playing.

Baten Kaitos Movies (Right click and save)

Opening
Very cool looking FMV's. This movie will get you hooked on this game

Story
The style and movement of the characters look reminisent to Final Fantasy 10

Fighting
Turn based fighting with cards but its not like yu-gi-o
