Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will contain competitive online multiplayer modes for four of the game's events.

Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross, Short Track Speed Skating, and the Winter Sports Champion Race can all be played online against others or friends. While played you will be able to earn medals which will correspond to points for your home country. Each countries point total can be viewed through online ranking boards.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will be released on November 15 as either a standalone product or bundled with a Wii Remote Plus controller.
