 Hudson Soft has released the first trailer for their upcoming revival of the Bonk franchise, Bonk: Brink of Extinction.    

Players will once again play as the giant-headed caveman as he survives the dinosaur age and puts his noggin to good use.    

Bonk: Brink of Extinction will be released in early 2010 on WiiWare.

   Its funny how it took one classic wiiware title like Megaman 9 for devs to figure out that the public wants retro...  good retro.

Eh, a lot of those games were in the works before Mega Man 9.

I don't know about that, it is possible so I will change that a bit..

I am glad that Developers are now getting out these retro rebirths as the collection of wiiware games themselves are ok with a few excellent choices.  The re-addition of old is new again titles is a nice compliment to the ever expanding service that Nintendo provides to its consumers.

That's not a trailer!  It's a teaser!  There wasn't any game play footage!

I beat Bonk's Revenge a couple weeks ago.  I had a lot of fun with it.  I look forward to this title (assuming it's better than the Adventure Island remake).
