I only recognize 3 songs or so, though I've probably heard most of them one time or another.

those artist are all ok in my book but.. i'd rather have more punk bands, but thats my personal bias. skateboarding and punk music used to be synonomous...

i remember back when metal heads would drive by in their broken down cars blasting death metal and call me and my skate friends f@gs for no reason.. now its cool for them cuz bands like pig destroyer and in flames are on the soundtracks..

*havent heard this song but if its like anything of their first (and so far only) album, it wont fit right with skateboarding. i do like the band but i wouldnt think of thrasing on a board with their songs playing..

** again.. havent heard this song but if its anything like the majority of songs on their last album, i dont think its skateable.. if it sounds more like their first album, it should be good.

the lack of Ramones, Bad religion, Dead Kennedies and the like make this a really weak soundtrack

but on the bright side.. its not a bunch of emo bands covering GOOD songs like the last one. My chemical romance covering the Misfits????? that alone is the reason why i never bought, rented or even TOUCHED American Wasteland.. and dont get me started on the fact that they didnt include a single Clash cover, even though the cover art on the soundtrack was a take on the London Calling album!!!!!! UGHHH!!

/head explodes

I've only heard of four songs on that soundtrack and all but one of them came out before I was born.  I never thought of Sympathy For The Devil to be a good song to skate to.

I for one will be doing some serious skateboard-dancing to Future Pidgeon's immortal classic, "Gift Tax."  Seriously, you can't prove I've never heard of it.
