Nintendo Downloads - August 25, 2016
« on: August 25, 2016, 02:10:00 AM »

This week's releases awfully loud? They glide as softly as a cloud.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/43245/nintendo-downloads-august-25-2016

Following last week's release schedule that nearly broke this space, it's a much needed week of rest and relaxation. The eShops pick up a couple of interesting looking items including the latest effort from Nnooo - The Legend of Kusakari, a grass cutting Zelda-like. Also, Kickstarted title Armikrog hit Wii U already this week, and North America sees the next round of Nintendo Selects kick in tomorrow.

It's a shockingly busy week for the Virtual Console, and for once the New 3DS is the main beneficiary. It's Capcom fighting game week as Europe's three way dance from a couple of weeks ago (Turbo, Super and Alpha 2) hits the New 3DS - still waiting for word on if the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal will cross the ocean. On Wii U, it's DS launch title Super Mario 64 DS launching on a system with analog control for the first time even if it wouldn't use it.

Europe gets Armikrog, Kusakari, and Konami continues to pump out New 3DS VC items as The Legend of the Mystical Ninja will be out (with a nice deal, too boot). Other than that, it seems to be a quiet week...

OBJECTION!!

Oh dear, I almost forgot... the demo for the newest Phoenix Wright game releases this week. Pick it up to bone up on your supernatural legal skills before the full game releases in a couple of weeks.

Honestly, the fact that they got that game to run on the SNES (load times aside) is a miracle.
