Topic: Dig Dug Coming to 3DS Virtual Console Next Week

Valentine's Day will bring an NES port of the Namco arcade classic to portables.

The NES version of Dig Dug is coming to the 3DS North American Virtual Console on February 14 for $3.99, according to the eShop.

The game came out on the Japanese eShop last year, and is also available on the Wii Virtual Console in every region.

Oddly enough, a Game Boy version of the game exists, coming out in 1992, but hasn't been slated to appear on the 3DS Virtual Console at all.

NES titles are fine and all and I know I shouldn't complain but...
Let's just say I wish more GB and GBC titles were being released regularly on 3DS VC.


I actually liked Dig Dug a lot back when I used to hang at the arcades during my misspent youth of the 80s, so, I may end up buying this anyway, for nostalgia sake.
