During their pre-E3 press conference, Ubisoft announced Raving Rabbids Travel in Time.

The title is set to be the latest adventure in the Raving Rabbids series, following the well-recieved Rabbids Go Home.   It will feature the Rabbids at various periods throughout time, battling cavemen, gladiators and knights.

Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time is set to launch on November 9, 2010, exclusively for Wii.

"Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time is set to launch on November 9, 2010,   exclusively for Wii." - read.  ;)

I suggest anyone that can find a recording of the event and wants a laugh listen for the extremely annoying dude that at one point yells, "OOOOOHHHH DUUUUDE, YEEEAH, DID Y'ALL SEES THAT!? OOOOOOHHH THEYS THE BLOOOD!" You will know him because he stands up to yell during just about every game.

The trailer didn't show any gameplay. That kind of worries me, since this is being released in five months. I wonder how much they have done?

They did the same thing for the Michael Jackson game, but the Rabbids game will probably turn out better just based on the quality of each property.

What really bothers me about Ubisoft's event is the complete disregard for handhelds. This may be because the 3ds is coming soon, and nobody loves the PSP anyways. Still, some DS love would be nice.

They can't reveal any 3DS games until after the Nintendo Conference and they can't reveal any PSP2 games until after the Sony Conference, so they just left all the handheld stuff out.

That was for a Micheal Jackson game? I thought it was just an end-show number...

Unfortunately no, Yves Guillemont stood up there and asked that we remember that the "game" would teach us how to become as good as what we were about to see, if not better. He wasn't clear about what this game would involve, but I would like to think that the whole idea is that we will learn to make real-world people dance like lunatics using only a 360 controller.

Also- am I the only one that is bummed that the new Rayman is an origins and not a 3d followup to The Great Escape? And why does the trailer insinuate that Rayman and Globox are lovers?

Remember, they already have an engine in place so I wouldn't be too worried yet. All the hard stuff is out of the way, they just need to give it good content.

I think the main thing to worry about is that M. Ancel is most likely mot working on it.

I think they didn't show any gameplay, because it was a teaser trailer.  It was in the same vain of all the other Rabbid teaser trailers...little cartoons about the Rabbids.

I actually love the design and playfulness of the Rabbids and think they are fantastic cartoon characters...and more enjoyable than most characters out of the Rayman universe.  (I love the games, but some of the characters are not well designed.)

So I am hoping for the best with this game that it will be good.
