Need some hater input?
: This is all well and good for the year or two that the Wii U is on the market without next-gen competition, but the 720 and PS4 will outclass it soon enough. And for the moment I already have two system that can produce PS360 quality visuals. For me, the big question is, how much better the 720 and PS4 games will look and will I even care? My second biggest question is how uncomfortable will that big clunker of a controller be?
I do REALLY REALLY like the idea of moving as much of the HUD off the main gaming screen as possible though. That ought to increase immersion and for me that is a huge selling point. I'm wondering how often the main HUD elements will be removed though. They could just as easily follow standard HUD practices and just add a map to the controller screen. The mockup Zelda shot was promising, but we'll see.
