To clear up a few misconceptions:
-There's more than fifty levels.
-The enemy placement isn't random.
-The "weird jumping effect" referred to is called screenshake, and is commonly used in most games nowadays.
-There is no gun in the game.
Sorry the game didn't click with you. It's hard, but definitely not unfair or broken.
