It seems like they've actually been trying to get better with their advertising now. Has anyone seen the FF:CC ad? Almost all gameplay, and it doesn't look that bad either, which is surprising given the poor capture system that the GCN has.

Bought sometime on Sunday November 18th, 2001. Still works to this day. No disc read errors, no freezes, no skips. Darn near perfection, compared to the PS2s I see returned everyday at work. Usually between 4 months and a year for them. Oh well... get's SCEA more sales.

I don't know why they can't just use some of the promo materials for the US commercials. Like the stuff they'll show at E3. Instead they hand us "Clean is Better Than Dirty". This can't be Leo Burnett doing the commercials can it?

I think when they start advertising this in the US they should keep the commercial exactly the same, sans the Japanese of course.

$400! Where on earth were you shopping? I could've gotten mine for 199.99 at launch at the local TRU.
Maybe you were talking about some bundle deal or, maybe in moon money or something. But $400!
