Yup. Anyone who disagrees, get out! That's what America
was founded on. Don't know where ur from but
we charish other peoples right to complain.

As for listening, I may not be doing that long and
leaving nwr and not coming back. Apparently
people here don't think nintendo has any merit
and feels pushing xbla games on a supposed
nintendo site is fine.
You discussed me with ur " my way or the highway "
attitude.

AAGAIN, you would interview this guy why?  to pimp 360 games. thats it.

as for nintendos rules, they suck.  but im loving Shantae.
and Renegade kid makes only DS games, maybe you can talk to them.

crap. must be on the radio free multiplatform podcast boards. sorry, was thinking people came to NWR for nintendo, my mistake, obviously u cant get 360 or ps3
 news anywhere else.

RFN moved to the #1 spot on my podcast list, a few months back.
i see now that was a mistake. Not only did your Speacial guest have nothing to
do with nintendo, he admitted he doesnt even want to.
that being said, instead of JIZZING on that idiot, how about interviewing
people like Jools Watsham of Renegade kids or Matt Bozon of
Wayforward. Those two for example not only develope for Nintendo
but love pumping out awesome games for nintendo fans.

After this show i never will buy a game from M.B.G. and encouage everyone
i know (admiitedly a small group) to avoid those titles.
I have a 360, im not nintendo only, but i can go to itunes and subscribe
to any of 50  360,PS3, or multiplatform podcasts.

I find it insulting to your listener base, that you spent 1/3 of the RADIO FREE NINTENDO
Podcasts 1hr 45mins spugging over a developer that has not and WILL NOT make a  single nintendo Game.  FOR SHAME Jonathan Metts, shame on you.

Maybe if you spent less time pimping 360 games, you would have time for more
 of your listeners mail.

« on: October 07, 2010, 08:58:05 AM »
Does that matter really?  An awesome engine will
be made and people will license a game engine designed
for the handheld.
Occationally, someone shoves a mic in mark Riens
face to get his anti - Nintendo thoughts.
When he is developing for the platform,
what he thinks will then be relivant.

I'M a big nintendo fan. But if they think I'm
going to pay 250 or over for a handheld
they are smoking miyamotos garden mushrooms.
I'm sorry. But 230 is tops I'll pay for a handheld.
200 or below is more reasonable.

Possible spoiler folloing.  WARNING maybe]

The lava boss, kicked my A$$ about 5 times before i beat him. the Charging thing killed me
a couple times as it when to morph ball instead of charging.
but the real rediculous part is Samus waiting for authorization to use available suit abilities

I am pleasently suprised at how much fun this game is. Yea i liked the other 2D games, but they are hard a hickory nuts.  Maybe thats it, its challenging to me but allows for progression.

anyway, my vote is, DONT MISS THIS GAME!

Dementium II , Really?  " But they put u in kill rooms."  Please, anyone who plays
servival horror knows u use the infinate ammo of the knife whenever possible.

Where u one of those people who say " metroid prime is an FPS because its in
first person."  The view matters not, its the gameplay.

As for metroid other M, i liked having my own store of a girl (alien, not human)
who has a suit and the abilities from a long gone race.
She was spared the annialation of her people and raised by other aliens who
combined the remains of her technology with their own. then that peaceful race
was distroyed, yet she survived again, now to fight for good.

but nintendo decided to go a different route. so we will see
but i like this game, as an evolution of the Super metroid 2D game.

I wondered who the sarcastic bastard was that reviewed this game. I
looked at who reviewed it, oh  i see.  The same person who gave Dementium II
an 8 cause he didnt know how to play it.
So in real people terms, its probably an 8.5

Again Zach, you missed the point, the voice actor for Samus worked hard
to get her voice mono tone, while trying to convey emotions.(what the director
 wanted)
I played about an hour, after work, was tired so went to bed thinking 'why did
they make her a whinning brat'.

I still think the Episode sucked.
There are plenty of XBOX and playstation crap  podcasts if thats what u wanna hear.
With nintendo's history and the library, one should never have to say, i dont have any
 nintendo stuff to talk about.
i have a 360 and play some games on it, but my interest in nintendo is why
 i listen to this podcast.

i had 23 podcasts on my machine, after i got rid of the ones that went off topic,
XBX podcasts that talk about  ipod and iphone
Nintendo podcast that talk about PSP and PS3 games.

back about 4-5 eposodes ago, 45mins of RFN was Sony /XBX stuff, really rfn?
you should be ashamed of yourselfs.

i didnt make as much as i expected.

what a freeken disaster this podcast turned out to be.
your back into talkin about sony crap on a nintendo podcast.
( there is a reason i listen to nintendo podcasts not sony podcasts)
then u say, got lots of good emails, and you highlight 3
 1. what psp games to get
  2. a nitche segment of a nitche product called  rockband
  3. talk of a system that nintendo hasnt even announced yet, meaning,
you were pulling crap outta your a$$ about an imaginary product.

how could this have been worse. oh the host loves to here himself talk and dominates the time. check.

had a launch phat for upto 1.5 yrs after lite launch(U.S.) touch screen worked but wouldnt
do the adjust ( 3 taps) thing. traded it for a lite. no hinge issues, but lite tapes on "A" button sometimes doesnt register.
still playing it and love my nintendo hardware.  ( my 360 red ringed)
honestly, dude ur rough with ur systems or something.

« on: July 13, 2010, 06:18:54 PM »
Glad to see DQ IX getting the respect it deserves, not getting crapped on like Dementium II.
I have and am enjoying this game. Im not an RPG player, apart from Fire Emblem i dont play
RPG's much.  This is making me wanna go back when im finished and get IV V and VI if its released.

TalkBack / Re: Analyst: 3DS May Cost $249-$299, Hit Japan First
« on: July 05, 2010, 07:11:22 PM »
Lol I expect it to launch 2010 in Japan for 229
then in U.S. For 200 in march.  My top end is 229
U.S.  I didn't get a dsi cause it wasn't big enough
up-grade. And no exclusive games(not counting
download).  But 3DS is a big jump and will get my
money.
So SNES to N64 is  up grade cause 2D to 3D .
But ds/dsi to 3DS isn't  because why stereoscopic
3D doesn't count.  Lol

I am using an old first gen iPhone as an ipodtouch
I have the software, I think before the 3gs came out
have had no problems downloading from nwr to my
touch . However another site I can't direct download
their video podcast.
Greg, absolutely love what u do with the podcast.
Anyway for mp3 version u can put the picture thumb-
nails in shownotes?  Or is that only a wma feature?

Nintendo Gaming / Re: DSi Screen burn in?
« on: July 02, 2010, 09:05:56 PM »
I thought burn in couldn't happen with an
LCD . Where I work we have cell phones that
log time and they 99% of the time have one
screen with the same borders and labels on
and they have an after  image . But they are always
on and after a year u get this image when on
different screen. But that's not what he's saying.

its 10 dollars. bought it this morning and played like an hour straight.
i havent finished it but im liking it.  dont regret the $10 at all 1000 wii points

never saw that before, only a fading image after i turn it off.
people just don't use the sleep mode on the ds.  I hear people saying
that dundeon was so long, didnt want to save and go thru it all again.

Duh! put it in a pause state, shut the lid, and come back later.
