There's a lot of power in the JoyCons.

The upcoming Switch port of World of Goo will have plenty of control options.
Tomorrow Corporation, the publishers of the game, have confirmed on Twitter that a touchscreen option for tablet/tabletop mode and a pointer mode for TV play will both be available.
@MCX316 They will have both

The touchscreen play is similar to how the mobile versions of the game control, while the pointer control will use the right JoyCon in a fashion similar to the Wii Remote controls.
@famicomplicated There's a Wii-style pointer control when docked. N managed to cram those Joy-cons with a surprising amount of super stars.

Check out the "remastered" segment from NWR's telethon!

Did you miss the NWR Telethon this year? No problem! James and Danny are joined by 8-4 Play all-stars John Ricciardi and Justin "JJ" Epperson for this year's podcast telethon segment for the kids. This version of the episode contains all of the same content from when it originally aired on October 15, however, we have went ahead and put in musical breaks and enhanced the podcast as well. Woo!
As for what was actually on the Famicast segment, Danny recently got his hands on the retail version of Monster Hunter Stories and kicks off the show talking about it with everyone. He's still pretty early in, but the gang bring up interesting questions revealing more about the game (or something). After that, the crew delves into a feature discussion on the NX and what Japanese gamers need in terms of games and features. The show closes out with a new Super Mario themed interactive quiz from JC! Tons of laughs were had which will keep you going all the way down that "Sweet Road." If you would like to try you luck at the quiz, you can check it out here. (*note* The quiz link will only be active for one month starting at the time of this post.)
Psst... James, Marie is actually the sister who won the Splatfest, not Callie. I wish Callie had won!
Still listening (slowly) to this podcast.
Thanks for the TGS game impressions, and for the entertaining listen in general.
Hands on with EVERY Nintendo title from TGS. Are you ready?!

Nintendo’s biggest calendar event of the year has finally come and the Famicast was there to cover all of the new releases and annou...oh wait, we went where? Tokyo Game Show? Was Nintendo even...Okay. Okay! How about, the Famicast is back with a special live recorded podcast fresh off of the showfloor from Tokyo Game Show 2016 where we managed to play literally every Nintendo system game at the event! Danny, James and Sairus all weigh in with what they played and what they thought of this year’s VR heavy event.
Before we get into the nitty gritty of TGS however, we have a look back at the recent announcement of Mario making his way to iPhones, which James in particular has some strong opinions on. We also round out the show with some of the news that came out around TGS, plus a look at our reader feedback.
You can check out the show in video form below as well as a special TGS 2016 troll video from none other than James. Enjoy the episode and let us know what you think!
