This Week in Nintendo Downloads
« on: September 13, 2010, 11:06:36 AM »

Three DSiWare titles and one WiiWare game carry another weak week of Nintendo downloads.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/24022

This week has only four releases spread across WiiWare and DSiWare.

The lone WiiWare game is Adventure on LOST ISLAND - Hidden Object Game. The four-player game from Ateam Inc. is a hidden object where players can team up and search for different items in a variety of landscapes. It is available for 500 Wii Points ($5).

DSiWare sees three releases this week, headlined by Castle Conqueror, a real-time strategy from CIRCLE Entertainment. CIRCLE also released Hints Hunter and Ancient Tribe for the service. Castle Conqueror is a purported "real-time strategy for casual gamers." That pretty much describes what it is, as you must storm into battle, fighting off enemies and collecting gold to upgrade your troops. It is available for 500 Nintendo DSi Points ($5).

The second DSiWare title is Crazy Pinball from dtp entertainment, who also brought other crazy games to DSiWare such as Crazy Golf and Crazy Sudoku. Crazy Pinball has five different tables, ranging from a safari-themed one to an underwater-themed one. It is available for 500 Nintendo DSi Points ($5), which equates to $1 a table.

The final release of the week is another entry in Nnooo's myNotebook series. The color this week is Tan, and it contains the usual suite of features as the other titles. There are 128 pages to write on, 24 unlockable paper styles, and the ability to export to the Nintendo DSi Photo Album. It is 500 Nintendo DSi Points ($5). It is the sixth entry in the myNotebook series.

This just seems like the typical downloadable game drought that happens mid-year. I remember one happening last year as well, but then titles like Bit.Trip Void were released.

WHO IS BUYING THESE MYNOTEBOOK APPS?
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.
